Volatile Parts is an experimental, artist-run project in Atlanta. The parts are:
>Month-long studio residencies (paused)
>A bi-monthly open house to share residents’ work (paused)
>A publishing component, including the creation of documents alongisde each studio residency, and ongoing openness to collaborating on books and projects.
MANIFESTO
>Particular openness to ephemeral, impractical, and unmarketable ideas.
>When possible, play with traditional experiences of who gets what when. Time-Money-Access.
>As Jonas Mekas writes in his Anti-100 Years of Cinema Manifesto: “I am for art which we do for each other as friends, for ourselves.”
